Midwifery Care
​
Full spectrum, home birth midwifery services for low risk birthing people who would like to give birth on Vashon. Services include exceptional prenatal, postpartum, and newborn clinical care. Additionally, labor and delivery are attended at home with a licensed midwifery provider and other qualified health professionals who assist in a gentle and safe physiological birth, and proper facilitation of a transfer to higher level services (ie hospital) should complications arise. This type of care is oriented towards education, preventative health, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, shared decision-making and informed consent.
Collaborative Perinatal Care

Our “Co-Care” services are available to all families, regardless of where they plan to give birth. Offered as a bundle of services, or selected individually, based on the client’s needs. Services include prenatal care, childbirth doula, postpartum and newborn care, and are provided on island, in our clinic or from the client’s home.

Doula: Childbirth & Postpartum
​
A childbirth doula is a skilled professional providing emotional support, information and education, and physical comfort to birthing people before, during, and shortly after childbirth. A postpartum doula is here to accompany newly postpartum families through the transitional time at home with a new baby.

Lactation Support
​
In depth, one-on-one lactation support from the client’s home or in our clinic office. Our lactation services are available to all island families and are provided by licensed midwives.

Preconception Care
“Pathways to Pregnancy” is a comprehensive program that addresses fertility, nutrition, preconception health screening and testing, genetic health screening, counseling and conception support through IUI (intrauterine insemination) or referring for IVF if necessary.

Waterbirth Tub Rental
​
Our tub rental fee includes a premium birth tub (includes set up and clean up).

Health and wellness in the childbearing year starts with midwifery care, but it doesn’t end there. Providing access to complementary therapies ensures our clients can prepare and repair for full spectrum wellness before, during and after giving birth.
Integrated Mental Health Program
Personal one-on-one assessment and ongoing treatment provided by an in-house, qualified mental health therapist. These services are easily integrated into routine pregnancy care and are available to all clients regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
Family Nutrition Program - NEW!​
Customized nutrition consulting focused on family health and wellness. While we see client's with a variety of nutritional needs, we also have a perinatal package that includes 5 sessions from preconception through postpartum, targeting common concerns like morning sickness, fatigue, and more!
